Most countertop jobs that need a re-fit fail for a reason that was visible at templating. Here is the one we see most in this part of the GTA, followed by the four that apply everywhere.

### Getting a full-length slab into an Old Oakville character home

The fabricator arrives with a one-piece perimeter top that cannot turn through the front hall, and the install is rescheduled.

Why it happens here: Old Oakville has been a Heritage Conservation District since 1981, so many renovations happen inside older houses with narrower halls and doorways than a new build.

How we fix it: We measure the delivery path at templating and plan Cambria quartz seams so every piece clears the door, matching the sample board to the slab yardage before cutting.
