## Stone Fabricators With Our Own 20,000 Sqft Shop

 pass through a lot of hands before they reach a kitchen. Many stone fabricators in the GTA are really installers who buy cut pieces from someone else. We run our own 20,000 sqft facility, so every slab for clients from North York to Vaughan is cut, edged and inspected under one roof.

Inside the shop we run CNC bridge saws, a waterjet, CNC edge profilers and polishing wheels, all wet-cutting for silica dust control. A Red Seal fabrication lead reviews every slab before install. That control is why our templating-to-install window is 2-3 weeks and why we can fabricate customer-supplied slabs for $42-$68 per sqft.

## Our Fabrication Equipment

## How a Slab Moves Through the Shop

**Intake.** Every slab is inspected for cracks, fissures and colour when it arrives, then tagged to your job. Caesarstone and Cambria slabs are matched to your sample board.

**Nesting.** Your Proliner template is laid over the slab in software. We position pieces to place seams where you approved and run veining the right way, while keeping waste and kerf width in mind.

**Cutting.** Straight runs are cut on the CNC bridge saw. Curves and cutouts go to the waterjet. Everything is cut wet.

**Profiling.** Edges are shaped and polished on the CNC profiler. Mitred aprons and waterfall legs are machined at exact 45-degree angles.

**Quality check.** Our Red Seal shop foreman inspects every piece for chip-out, polish and fit before it is wrapped and loaded.

Kitchen designers, builders and homeowners who buy their own slab can use our shop for fabrication and installation.

The fab-only price depends on edge profile, waterjet complexity and cutout count. We inspect your slab on arrival and flag any issues before cutting.

## Safety and Dust Control

Cutting engineered quartz and natural stone creates crystalline silica dust. We cut, profile and polish wet across the shop, which keeps dust out of the air, in line with Ontario OHSA requirements. Our crews are WSIB covered and the company carries $5M liability insurance.

A Humber Valley custom-home designer wanted to supply her own 10-ft Cambria Brittanicca slab from a trade account and only needed fabrication. We received the slab, inspected it for shipping damage, performed the Proliner laser template at the finished site, cut and polished the pieces in our shop on the CNC bridge saw, and delivered to the install crew. Fabrication-only service with slab-supply-your-own carries a 9-business-day lead time and workmanship warranty on our cuts, polish and edges only (not on the slab itself).
