1. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or engaging Quartz Countertops Toronto for a quote or project, you agree to these Terms of Service. Your written CAD quote and any signed project agreement form part of these terms. If they conflict, the signed project documents apply.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes unless stated. Published per-sqft prices are guides. Your written CAD quote sets the price for your project based on the material, square footage, edges, cutouts, seams, backsplashes, supports and removal described in it. If the scope changes after templating, such as a different sink, added cutouts or a layout change, we will confirm any price change in writing before proceeding.

4. Payment Schedule

Unless your project agreement says otherwise, payment is made in three stages: 25% at templating, 50% at the start of fabrication and the remaining 25% on install day after you have inspected the installed countertop. We do not charge a consultation fee. Trade and commercial accounts may use agreed progress billing.

5. Site Readiness

Templating is scheduled only after cabinets are installed, level and secured, sinks and faucets are on site, appliance specifications are final and backsplash walls are finished. If the site is not ready on the templating date, or if cabinets, fixtures or walls change after templating, a re-template fee and schedule change may apply.

6. Natural Stone and Material Variation

Natural stone such as granite, marble and quartzite varies in colour, pattern and natural features like fissures, and these are not defects. Engineered quartz is produced in batches. As an authorized Caesarstone and Cambria fabricator we match slabs to your approved sample, but minor variation between a small sample and a full slab can occur. Marble may etch from acids, and granite, marble and quartzite require periodic sealing.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel before templating without charge. After templating, the templating payment is non-refundable. After fabrication has started, material and fabrication costs already incurred are non-refundable. Please give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule a templating or install appointment.

8. Plumbing, Electrical and Gas

Our installation includes disconnecting and reconnecting standard sinks, faucets, drains and drop-in cooktops in their existing locations. Relocating plumbing, electrical or gas lines must be done by appropriately licensed trades before templating.

9. Warranty

We provide a 15-year workmanship warranty on our fabrication and installation, transferable to a subsequent owner of the property for the first 5 years. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and range from 10 years to lifetime depending on the brand and product. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from impact, heat, harsh chemicals, misuse, structural movement of the home or cabinets, or work modified by others.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quartz Countertops Toronto is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from our services or the use of this website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the work giving rise to the claim. We carry $5M liability insurance and our crews are covered by WSIB.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
